A time for fresh starts
Monday, July 9th, 2007This weekend signaled a season of changes in my life. My younger daughter turned 21 (after a long daily countdown!), and we marked that event by a wonderful dinner for a few family and friends at the restaurant where she works. Amanda has been very grown up for quite a long time, so this was the legal system and formalities catching up with her maturity. But this also represents the first time in 38 years that I have not had a daughter who is not an adult.
