A time for fresh starts

This weekend signaled a season of changes in my life.  My younger daughter turned 21 (after a long daily countdown!), and we marked that event by a wonderful dinner for a few family and friends at the restaurant where she works.  Amanda has been very grown up for quite a long time, so this was the legal system and formalities catching up with her maturity.  But this also represents the first time in 38 years that I have not had a daughter who is not an adult.

Great thanks to David Ing for getting this site set up for me.  It feels like the timing is right for fresh starts, in more ways than I can mention at the moment.  This will unfold and emerge over time, and it feels great to have this place in time and space for it to happen.

Doug, welcome to the blogging world.

I’m glad to help with form … and now you can face your own challenges with content!

Our family just reached the milestone for our youngest graduating from primary/middle school, and he’ll be in high school this coming fall. With four sons going to the same school(s), our family tends to make its presence known.

    Doug,
Fresh starts are good. I’m hopeful that you will become prolific in this space - as your insights and research have always been a fascination to me. Cheers, Greg
